Fall Sister Portraits in Franklin Park

Back-to-back sister sessions! Yes, I couldn’t resist sharing another gorgeous pair of sisters from the fall. These two were a little bit older than then the previous pair and just as much fun! I love when my clients bring extra accessories to try out during their session. It helps to add a little variation without the time that it takes for a whole outfit change. These girls had some extra scarves and hats with them. We didn’t use them all but it was nice to play a little.

While this was my first time meeting the older sister, I’ve actually photographed the little sister as part of my ballet sessions last spring. After always seeing her in ballet- concentrating and ready to dance -it was great to see this young lady literally let her hair down and enjoy her session with her big sister.

What kind of accessories should we bring?

There are so many possibilities for accessorizing your outfit for your photography session. Whether your getting family photos or headshots, accessories add interest and can be a great way to add a pop of color. Try colorful hats or scarves or even something simple like a bigger necklace or bracelet. Jackets and vests can also be a fun way to add a bit of variety to your look. Even a blanket can double as an accessory for a session- just wrap it around your shoulders and you’re all set with a cozy look. But that one probably doesn’t work so well in the summer. 🙂
