Autumn Sisters in Franklin Park

Autumn is the season for jewel tones- deep golds, bronzes, rich scarlet reds – all of these you will see in throughout nature. It seems to me nature’s last attempt to remind us of warmth before winter sets in. I’m sure it’s why everyone scrambles for portraits.

I was so excited when this family contacted me. Their oldest daughter was one of my first tween sessions! And as you’ll see, she and her little sister are so photogenic! Add those fall colors and some golden hour sun and you get a magical, beautiful portrait session!

After some of these two together, it was time for little sister to shine!

Next it was big sister’s turn again!

And finally we did a few more of the girls together.

Now’s the time!

I look at these images and think about how special they are and how special they will be one day. Today, these images are for mom and dad and grandmas and grandpas. Tomorrow, these images are for these special girls. Tomorrow is when they will be grown and looking back and remembering being sisters together.
