Mt. Lebanon Newborn LifeStyle Session
One of the best parts of my job is getting to tell the complete story of welcoming a new life into your family. I first met this family at mama’s maternity session. While mom looked absolutely gorgeous, big sister stole the show with her bright smile. I couldn’t wait to meet the new little girl that they were expecting.
And in no time at all, she was here!

This family wanted a LifeStyle session in their home and their bedroom happened to have some amazing light! What I loved about this session were the subtle touches of color that peeked in throughout the session- her little pink headband, the red wrap, the yellow in the lampshade… There was nothing overwhelming so the focus remained on baby but just enough to add interest and not leave you bored with just gray and white.
But a LifeStyle session doesn’t have to mean no posing at all…
I brought a neutral wrap and mom supplied the sweet little pink bow and the soft furry rug!
In-home newborn LifeStyle sessions are a great way to capture those earliest moments with your newborn, without having to drag everyone to a studio. Siblings can join in for their photos and then disappear to their rooms to play. Mom and dad don’t have to worry about running out of diapers or bottles because they’re home. Most importantly, everyone will feel more at ease because that’s how we tend to feel when we’re at home.
