Winter Senior Session Downtown
In this area, it’s not too often that I schedule a winter senior session but it does happen. What do you do when a yearbook deadline is quickly approaching and you haven’t scheduled your senior photo session? Do you let the school photographer snap your photo in the hallway at school? Do you just go with the “photo missing” placeholder? Or do you give Jodi Walsh Photography a call?
Of course, I would go with that last option.
There are a number of ways to make a winter senior session successful. We can pick a 40-50 degree warmish-for-winter day. We can go for the cold and snow, layer up, end enjoy a snowy senior session.
Or we can take advantage of mom’s place of work for an indoor session with amazing views of the city.
I loved working with all of the different reflections- from the glass to the different metals on the walls.
This young man was so photogenic. He walked away from his session with plenty of options for the yearbook and with the possibility of a follow-up session after his braces come off. Wait, braces, you say? There aren’t any braces in his photos. That’s right. Because these kids should have the opportunity to look how they want to look. Sometimes the orthodontist has different ideas and so I took some time to remove his braces so we can see that great smile!
