Wexford Spring Baby Girl turns One

There is something special about celebrating new life in the spring and that gets even more exciting when you find yourself celebrating the first birthday of a very special baby girl!  Like many other people, spring reminds me of beginnings.  Everywhere you look there are reminders of rebirth all around- from the buds on the trees to the sweet baby bunny I found in my yard last week.  And I find that it’s the perfect time to celebrate those first beginnings of that transition from baby to toddler that come along with turning one.

There is a sweet little drive lined with pink flowering trees and I was so excited to be able to photograph such a special girl.

I have the pleasure to photograph not only this sweet girl but her big brother and big sister from the time that they were born!  I love that my images have helped to document their growing family and to capture those precious milestones.  It’s something that I not only love being able to do for clients but also for friends.

We started her shoot with her special birthday dress!  The spring colors in the dress fit so beautifully with the colors around her.

Big sister had her pictures done with mama’s pearls 4 years ago so we had to continue the tradition with little sis!

Outfit Change

Then there was a little time left for a quick change.  This time mama picked a light blue dress with little flowers.  It went perfectly with the little miss’ baby blues.

I look over these images and I can’t help but see bits and pieces of her siblings peeking through.  That little face reminds me of her big sister.  That tilt of the head makes me think of her brother.  And all of these little bits that make up this new precious and unique little one.  It’s been so special to watch her grow!
