I’ve mentioned before how I enjoy getting to document families growing year after year.  I’ve had the amazing opportunity to not capture this family’s changes in a very special way and to become a part of their tradition.   You see, several years ago when I was just starting out, my friend approached me wanting to plan a special photo session for her daughter to celebrate her 5th birthday.  She got to pick out a pretty white dress, put on some lip gloss and blush and have her own special photo shoot.  I absolutely loved this idea.  This is why I started this business- to celebrate milestones!

A couple of years later, it was time for daughter number 2 to get her special photo session.  And with each session, this family became friends of mine (another perk).

A few weeks ago it was time for daughter number 3.

So before jumping into the latest pictures, here’s a little blast from the past…

Such beautiful sisters!  And now for the rest of her session!

She was such a brave girl.  It was so so cold and windy but she didn’t want her jacket to cover her pretty dress.

After her pretty dress, it was time for a quick update of the family pictures.

As you can see there’s a handsome little mister in the family and his mama and I have already started talking about what to do when he turns 5   🙂

This peanut has so much personality and you can see it in her outfit choices!  Don’t you just love that hat!
