Special Summer Family Reunion

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I agreed to photography a family reunion for one of my past clients.  Families are so incredibly different. I knew that this experience could be very, very good.  Well, this was one event that I feel truly blessed to have been able to capture.

Families are so special to me.  My own family plans a special camping trip/picnic every summer.  It’s a great opportunity for my kids to feel connected to our bigger family.

And nothing makes me misty-eyed faster than those magical moments of love that can happen within a family.  Being able to watch this extended family get together and just really enjoy each other… wow!  That was a special sight to see.  It was a gorgeous afternoon.  There was great food, lots of kids, lots of laughing, lots of love and plenty of photobombs.
