We’ve made it!  We’re well into the beginning of 2017 and working our way through winter.  I don’t know if I can adequately express how thrilled I was that the sun was still out last night as I drove my girl down to ballet class at 5 pm.  Yes, it’s that little bit of extra daylight that helps to get me through these dreary winter months.

And for a bit of a distraction, I thought I would pull out some of my favorite family photos from the fall season.

Thanks to so many amazing clients, this was my most successful fall season since starting this business!  And as stressful as it was at times, scheduling, editing and ordering, I absolutely loved all the families that I got to work with!

We live in a beautiful city, with so much green space!  I love getting to find special spots and when my clients share they’re own discoveries with me.

Yes, while I love meeting my clients at area parks (and we have an abundance of them in this area), it’s also fun to have a photography session at my client’s house.  You don’t have to have a magazine-perfect home for beautiful portraits.  A little green space outside or some nice window light inside, and you have a perfect set up for family portraits.
