Decisions: full session or mini session?

Families are all so different and have different needs when it comes to family portraits. Some families want a couple of locations like some photos at home and going to the park. Some families want to be able to have a few outfits- fancy dresses along with casual jeans and sweaters. And some families want a quick session with those must-have portraits.

I want to be able to provide services that fit all of those needs and expectations. This is why I offer both full sessions and mini sessions. Full sessions can be scheduled throughout the year. I recommend full sessions for newborns, first birthdays with a smash cake, and other milestone moments. They're great for little ones who might need more time to warm up to a photographer or families that are very active and need a mix of lifestyle captures along with those posed portraits. Mini sessions are short and sweet and are available to schedule at certain times throughout the year. They're ideal for families that just need a few nice photos.

Family Full Session + Base Collection

$650

Pricing starts at $650 for the session and base collection with options to upgrade collections and/or purchase a la carte products from your personal gallery store.

1-2 hours of on-location portrait time
an online gallery of fully retouched images
a personal gallery store where you can view your images in products
10 digital files with a release for personal printing and sharing

what to expect before the session

Planning: Through questionnaires and/or an optional phone consult we'll discuss location options and outfits as well as any special, unique-to-you images we want to capture. And before your session, you'll receive a session plan to serve as a guide so you know what to expect.
No Pressure: Sessions are relaxed with no pressure to perform but always with a little guidance to help you look your best in front of the camera.

what to expect after the session

Updates: You'll receive email updates on the progress of your gallery and my process of working on them
The Slideshow: All the images from your final gallery are put into a slideshow set to music. It's the perfect way to enjoy your images.
Black & White images: All images are shared in both color and black & white for more options. (Black & white images are sold separately and not included automatically with the download or purchase of a color image)

Styling and Makeup:
I'm happy to assist not only with location recommendations but also with outfit ideas with an emphasis on everyone looking great while being comfortable. (And Pinterest boards are always welcome for sharing ideas)
Pets are always welcome:
Our animal friends are part of the family too and we can definitely include them in your senior portrait session. Let me know during the planning consultation so that we can make a plan for how best to include them.
