I launched my Tween sessions back in May after spending some time watching my own kids creep closer and closer to their teenage years.  It was great spending time photographing the girls who jumped at the opportunity to be in front of the camera but in the back of my mind, I was also hoping some boys would be interested too.  My tween sessions are not just for girls but boys can benefit from these sessions too.

I was so excited when this family contacted me about scheduling a tween session for not one, but two tween boys.  Brothers!  Fun and talented brothers and a family looking to add to their collection of family photos.

Mom said these boys love Pittsburgh and being downtown so the Strip District seemed the perfect place for their session.  We met up on a very chilly morning and the boys were so at ease in front of the camera.

Handsome fellas there, and also talented- a guitar player and a drummer.

The boys also enjoyed being able to share some of their other interests, hockey, and reading.  As the mother of a very avid reader, I love when other kids want to share that as their hobby too!

Then mom requested some shots with and without the glasses.  Man, these kids have amazing eyes!

I think these last 2 shots are a couple of my favorites ever!  I love it when mom and dad join in and have fun!

Even with cold weather, our city can still offer a beautiful backdrop for photos!

My tween sessions are quick, relaxed sessions designed to celebrate kids between the ages of 10 and 13 as they transition from kid to teenager.  You can choose your session to be downtown in a more urban spot or we can shoot in a more rural location and because of the quick time frame, these can be scheduled right away.  Check out my gallery and message me for more details.
