Scheduling for Summer
July and August tend to be when my senior portrait season begins. That’s typically when my fall sports seniors want to schedule before practices and games begin to eat up all of their spare time.
When you’re a swimmer and lifeguard, that limits your availability even more. Fortunately, we found a perfect sunny day for this summer senior girl to schedule her session in North Park.
Morning Light is often Bright
The morning sun can get super bright super fast in summer but every now and then I love the light and airy look and her sun-kissed vibe just fit the environment perfectly.
We started in a little clearing that I’ve only used a few times. As you can see, it was just so pretty.
There also happened to be a little creek that was right nearby and while it wasn’t crystal clear (thanks to all the rain we had) the wildflowers provided the perfect pop of color.
Over to the Lake
Next, we headed over to the lake for a few more in outfit #1 and then switched to outfit #2. Even though North Park is huge, I always plan for a couple of spots to get plenty of variety. They’re usually either a short walk or a short drive away.
These outfit choices were perfect for a senior mini session. Two different looks created such good variety. Simple and sweet. And you can’t go wrong with Black and white. They will always be classic looks.
So if you’re a class of 2026 senior who wants to get their portraits done before the chaos of the fall, now’s a good time to connect with me. I’m happy to put you on my list and then you can relax. I’ll contact you in late April to start making plans.
