This teen swimmer can really swim!

Whether you have a teen swimmer, singer, dancer, musician, or another athlete, scheduling a special session that captures their interest can boost self-esteem and encourage their passion.

Miss B is a student in Avonworth School District who has a passion for competitive swimming and I was thrilled to have to opportunity to capture her showing her talent in the pool a few weeks ago!  Her mom mentioned that she’s been swimming for several years but a new drive kicked in after participating in a swim meet at State College.  The pool is her home now and she spends much of her spare time swimming multiple times a week.

We met one afternoon at the Sewickley Valley YMCA

It was pretty cool to have the place to ourselves.  The light is absolutely beautiful with huge floor-to-ceiling windows on the one side of the room.  We took some time to around the pool and then it was time to jump in.

Look at that gorgeous smile!

Our kids are busy.  They play sports, act, dance and a number of other activities.  It’s important to try to document those interests.  A session like this can be part of a broader portrait session with multiple looks in addition to images in the pool along with a family portrait.  These images can work with any sport or activity.  Contact me and we can begin planning your next family session celebrating your talented teen!
