More Tween Portraits

Lately the blog has been full of newborns and babies.  While I do love getting to cuddle the little ones but I haven’t forgotten my new adventure with tween portraits.  These sessions are for kids on the verge of becoming teenagers.  They’re growing fast and the best way to freeze time in this moment is with a camera.  The sessions are shorter than full sessions but provide an opportunity for tweens to have a say in how they look, how they dress, and the overall image they want to show to the world.

A little while back I had the opportunity to photograph this young lady and her younger brother.  As you can see, these are two gorgeous kids! And they were so relaxed in front of the camera.

I’ve been loving these tween sessions and starting to think of myself as a tween photographer!  There is something about this age that I really enjoy.  I think that one of the things that I miss about teaching.  I taught art to grades 6-8.  Yes, it was hard.  Yes, the kids drove me crazy.  But there were a lot of things that I enjoyed and it had to do with that crazy age that they are.  So contact me to set up a special tween session for your special 10-14 year old!
