I spend a lot of time behind the camera and that’s where I am most comfortable but this recent session has made me want to venture to the other side. Why? Because they looked like they were having so much fun. Because I got to just sit back and watch all the hugs and kisses and loves and seeing that makes me want my own images with my girl and my mom.
I met Nola, her mom, and her nana in Frick Park, next to the blue slide. I hadn’t been there in years at least, not since we moved out of Oakland. And boy, this was the place to be on a Saturday afternoon. We found a nice spot under a perfect shade tree and Nola had brought her latest favorite storybook from the library (Superworm). They curled up and started storytime.
From stories, we moved on to blowing bubbles, then gathering and tossing helicopters (seeds) up into the air, and finally some bunny ears and laughs.
There’s still time to schedule your session. Contact me for details!
