Erie Newborn Session

A perk of this business is getting to share my gifts with those I care about, like members of my own family.  I’ve been blessed to be able to document my cousin’s growing family.  In a sense, her family has grown with my business.  It started back with her oldest daughter.  Then little Miss E joined us. And back in May, I was there to welcome the most recent little lady.  She was one of the most content little newborns, I’ve worked with recently.  She slept and slept and we played and played and got some beautiful images.

She’s extra special to me because she and my little girl were both named after their great great grandmother, Granny.  Granny was my grandma’s mother.  Growing up, Granny was a fixture at Grandma’s house usually watching Pirates baseball or Steelers football games.  She had her special chair in the living room with a dish of peppermints next to it and every time I walked in, she would offer a peppermint.  I think that might be where my love of peppermint began.  And she tolerated the chaos in the house over the summer and holidays when all of the great-grandkids were visiting.  Sadly, she never got to meet either of these Sadies but I have a feeling she and grandma are enjoying watching them grow from up in heaven.

The challenge was getting her big sisters in a picture with her-  oldest is 6 yrs old and such a good big sister.  She was so patient and gentle.  The middle sister just turned 1 back in February and she was a little more active but we managed!

Welcoming a new baby is such a special time for a family!  Documenting that moment is important but it can be hard to plan on getting out to a studio, especially if you have more than one little.  This is why I love to offer families the option of me coming to them.  They don’t have to choose between lifestyle or studio style.  We can do both in the comfort of your own home (or in this case, Grammy’s house).  Contact me and let’s start planning your next session!
