I was so excited to get the opportunity to take some family pictures for this special family.  Turning one is a big deal.  That milestone is even more special with your first child.  In that first year, you learn to be a mom and a dad.  It’s full of emotion- exhaustion, joy, frustration, exhaustion, love, patience and did I mention exhaustion.  And at the end of that first year, you have this little person with a distinct personality that you get to continue to teach and learn from.

We were all set for planning something at the beginning of December when they asked about moving up and trying October instead and I’m so so glad that they did.  As the year comes to an end, the weather becomes more and more unpredictable.  Our October session was perfect and even warm enough for her baby feet to play in the leaves.

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day- blue skies, sunshine and even warm enough to go without jackets and in the case of the little princess, without shoes.

 

I love when parents are relaxed and don’t stress about a little dirt.  This little one loved sitting in the leaves and eating a few.  Mama and Daddy were careful to make sure that they were clean leaves. LOL

I love getting to capture these moments of love.  The snuggles, the kisses and the absolute love that these parents have for their daughter.

 I’m so glad that we had this gorgeous day to capture these beautiful images and I’m looking forward to seeing this little one grow!
