Once upon a time, a little girl and her aunt became best friends.  They spent their days playing, singing songs, drawing pictures and pretending to be princesses.  One day the little girl grabbed her boots and her cape and her aunt dressed in her fanciest dress and they went on an adventure together.

And that’s how this special Storybook Session began.

Like most little girls, Miss K loves Frozen and playing dress-up.  Miss K also has an aunt who adores her niece, including playing dress-up especially if it means creating a costume of her own.  That’s right, Aunt Bex created her entire Anna costume, including the wig!  She is incredibly talented!

The fall leaves just added to the beauty and magic creating this session!

This might possibly be may artistically favorite session of the year.  I’m absolutely in love with these images (as you can see because I’m sharing almost all of them).  Little Anna was gorgeous.  Big Anna (her aunt) was so patient and willing to play.

I love being able to offer Storybook sessions like these where I get to witness and capture a child’s imagination.  Storybook sessions are about capturing your child or your family’s imagination.  It’s about combining costume with whimsy playing pretend to create some really special artwork.  As you can see with this session, you can bring a dress-up from the store or you can create your own.  With storybook sessions, we work together to create your child’s special moment.
